KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tiridates II (?), circa 217-252. AE (Bronze, 22 mm, 8.78 g, 11 h). Bearded head of Tiridates II to left, wearing five-pointed tiara tied with a diadem; all within laurel wreath. Rev. π‘‘π‘“π‘ƒπ‘ˆ / Οžπ‘Œπ‘‹π‘ / [..]ΛΙΛ / [...]𐑌 ('trdt mlk lil' in Aramaic and Greek?) in four lines within laurel wreath. Kovacs 204 var. (reverse legend). An extremely rare variety with the legend in four lines, and struck on an exceptionally heavy flan. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, very fine.
